15 August Celebrations

Celebrated this independence day with the kids in all three Palan Pathshala. This day a different atmosphere has been set in the village. All the young minds were busy in celebrating this day. Almost in all houses our National Flag has been hoisted.

15 August 1947, the date any Indian can hardly forget, the day of freedom, the day that bought hope, the day that made India independent seventy-four (74) years ago is celebrated with the same hope, enthusiasm, happiness, and patriotism.It took number of decades for us to break shackles of slavery. People of the country celebrate this festival every year with great pomp and show. The main Programme is celebrated at the Red Fort in New Delhi. Besides, this event is also celebrated in every city and town, in school, college and university.

Palan Pathshala also celebrates this festival every year. For this year, we had made all the preparations. Community members from Sahariya Janjati along with pathshala kids hoisted the national flag in the pathshala. Then followed by Cultural program. Patriotic songs and poems were recited by kids in our pathshala. In our pathshala, since it is a tribal belt, all the necessary items/things required for celebration and decoration were mainly used which is available in their periphery.

In the end, our cluster coordinator and academic coordinator delivered the short introduction of Independence Day. They told the kids about the supreme sacrifice the great martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of freedom. Cluster coordinator also said that the freedom was very precious and it was very necessary to preserve it.

The Independence Day has a great importance in every citizen’s life. This day reminds us every year that freedom is sacred and citizens must do everything to ensure that it shall not be endangered.
