In our villages, the dropout ratio is alarmingly high, sometimes reaching 100%. It is crucial to first explain to the students and their parents the importance and need for education. Often, after the age of 14 or 15, many students opt for manual labor or other work opportunities instead of continuing their education.
To address this issue, it is important to raise awareness about the long-term benefits of education, such as improved employment prospects, higher earning potential, and personal development. Engaging the parents and the community in discussions about the value of education can help create a supportive environment for students to pursue their studies. By addressing these underlying issues and emphasizing the importance of education through such workshops, we are striving to reduce the dropout rates and empower the youth in our villages to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
